Movie Review: UP

Just got back from watching Disney-Pixar’s UP in Disney Digital 3D. I thought UP was really good (I think every Disney movie is good though.. haha). This was Pixar’s 10th movie, and first movie is 3D. It’s about a balloon salesman named Carl Fredrickson who ties a lot of balloons to his house and flies away to South America with a wilderness explorer named Russell. Oh, and theres a dog named Dug who wears a collar that allows up to understand them. The movie has lots of excitement and adventure, and is really funny too. “SQUIRREL!”

Before the movie started we got to see the trailer for Pixar’s next movie, Toy Story 3. I thought the trailer was pretty funny and can’t wait to see the third Toy Story. You can watch the trailer for Toy Story 3 here. We also got to see the new pixar short “Partly Cloudy” which I also thought was funny.

If you havn’t already seen UP, you should go see it now. Oh, and I saw this movie on Opening Weekend.. yay. I couldn’t find any of the hidden surprises in the movie though.. I heard there was a Pizza Planet truck (from Toy Story) and an A113 reference (A113 is the room where some of the Pixar animators took their first animation class).

Glad you enjoyed the movie. Like you wouldn’t enjoy a Disney movie! Let alone one in 3D. Don’t have a kid to use as an excuse to go see it though. Maybe I could borrow a neighborhood kid. Ha! 🙂
